A PIONEERING EVENT
The exhibition was planned in such a way as to combine the traditional format of fair events, with a substantive conference for specialists and with demonstrations of machines at work outside. The organization of the event at the Służewiec Horse Racing Track in Warsaw made all these elements possible.
TRADITIONAL EXHIBITION COMBINED WITH A MEANING OF CONFERENCE
The exhibition part was located in the grandstand building. The exhibitors located there were mainly companies offering seeds, substrates, peat, sprayers, garden tools and other accessories. There was also a conference space in the hall, where the 1st Green Management Forum was held, organized together with the "Ziele Miejska" magazine. The conference attracted considerable interest, the speakers presented issues related to the tree protection policy, the possibility of installing green roofs on existing buildings, green strategies for cities, plant novelties for public spaces, standards for the landscape architecture industry and alternative fuels. The Federation of Polish Arborists shows throughout the day in the area in front of the main entrance to the hall. Specialists showed what their work "in trees" looks like and provided dendrological and legal advice.
THE OUTDOOR AREA A PLACE FOR DYNAMIC MACHINES SHOWS
Live machine demonstrations were held throughout the entire duration of the Fair. New products for the 2020 season were presented at each stand. It was a great opportunity to talk to company representatives and learn about the current trends. GREEN AREA SHOW provided exhibitors with an area where they could show their machines and devices at work. Visitors had the opportunity not only to listen to information about the parameters, but above all to see how they perform in use, and even test them on their own. The exhibitors emphasized that this form of presentation is the most attractive. Martyna Gościniak, assistant to the management board of Perfetto, said: “The formula of the event encourages customers and guests to get on machines that they have known so far only from marketing materials. They can confront this information with the actual state. " Andrzej Grocholewski, AL-KO's commercial director adds: “We were afraid that the weather would scare everyone, but it did not happen. We have customers all the time, and our salespeople have their hands full. Many dealers come to us. Such an event is an absolute novelty and it is very good that it appeared "
A PROVEN FORMAT THAT WERE NOT AVAILABLE ON THE POLISH EXHIBITION MARKET
When asked about their opinion on such a formula of the event, the exhibitors with live machine shows emphasized that this format is already proven on the global and European market and that such an event was definitely missing in Poland. They emphasized that it was also a great opportunity for them to confront their devices with the competition. They also had a lot of interesting observations
and proposals for the future. "We will certainly want to use them and implement them so that the next editions are only better" - emphasizes Paulina Maniecka, director of the GREEN AREA SHOW project. Zbigniew Słotwiński, Iseki machine salesman sums up: “We had a lot of reports and discussions with customers. They were usually representatives of service companies, municipal companies, companies maintaining green areas. There were many customers from Lower Silesia, Greater Poland and Mazovia. The event was very well advertised, which makes the reach really impressive. Customers know exactly what they want, they compare machines, ask about power and parameters. When it comes to practical field demonstrations, this is the best form of promotion and sale. "
WE ARE OPEN TO YOUNG PEOPLE
We invited students of specialized schools, landscape architecture technicians and gardening schools to participate in the GREEN AREA SHOW event. It is them who will shape the greenery in cities in the future, which is why we want to enable them to meet the industry leaders and obtain information about the latest and innovative technologies and solutions available on the market.
